Irish music has always been fluid, have you failed to see the variation in lyrics between nearly every artist who has created their own rendition of a certain song?

It's folk music lol. Different versions exist and there is nothing wrong with moving the verses around, not least because the sequence of geographical movement in what *you* consider to be the original (but isn't) is not logical anyway.
