Ordinary night here in Philippines 🇵🇭 in family gathering not complete with out Kara-oke machine.. and every member of family sing like a concert here.. mostly we sing are classic song 70s 80s and 90s 💖💖

The first one to sing (with the hat and long hair) is Limuel Llanes who is the Lead Singer of a Pilipino Cover Band "Ice Bucket Band". BTW, this is just an ordinary day with Pilipino friends singing during or after dining/drinking. This happens in almost every nook and cranny of the Philippines because of the Karaoke (we call it Videoke) Machine which you can find in almost every Home. Every gathering there's always Karaoke and singing our hearts out whether bad or good voices as long as we are having fun. Tnx Guys for appreciating Pilipino Talents. BTW, there's a lot of Karaoke challenge in YT wherein Mic is passed on to the next in line. It's really more Fun. Pls chk it out or even make reactions.

Yes, they are filipinos and it's normal in the philippines to do kareoke when in a drinking sessions and even some occassions such as bday party, christmas and even wedding occassions, mostly in provinces...the first guy who sang is lemuel a band member btw.

I know this is a bit random and not really related to what you watched here, but I would be very curious to see what you make of Babymetal. They're a pop-metal fusion band out of Japan who have done everything from playing mall food courts and the smallest side stages at festivals early in their career to selling out the Tokyo Dome two nights running. Their lead singer Suzuka Nakamoto has an interesting voice, avoiding the usual vibrato and other ornamentation that some pop singers use in favor of a powerful, direct sound that can pierce right through you. I would suggest their performance of Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014 from their official channel as a starting point. Hope you enjoy it!

as a filipina, i already said this before, and i'm gonna say it again -- not everyone in the philippines are good singers. but everyone, and i mean, EVERYONE is encouraged to sing. unless it's a competition that requires technicalities, or a person is just plain rude, no one in this country will ever tell you that you can't sing. whether you believe you can or not, you will sing. and everyone will sing along with you. we all encourage each other so much to sing, regardless of skill, that those who aren't that good, actually become good. i guess people only refuse to do something for fear of judgement and being told they aren't good enough. we filipinos don't do that to each other. you think you can't sing? we will make you sing. you're too shy cause you don't think you have what it takes? we will sing with you until you gain confidence to sing on your own. we love music and people who can't sing can love music too. you don't have to know the technicalities of everything to actually love it. in the philippines, you can sing your heart out in a karaoke, miss a note here and there, mispronounce words and you will not be shamed for it. everyone will laugh and sing with you and everyone will be happy. that is why, scenes like this are common in every filipino gathering. and that is why, all filipinos can sing. ❤️

I once went on a drinking session with these bunch of guys. (They're my friend's childhood friends) and 3 of them are bros. We went to a ktv room.
