Wat Phra Kaew is home to the Emerald Buddha and is the private temple of the Thai king and royal family. According to ancient tradition, the king of the kingdom would have a temple built in the palace grounds for religious ceremonies. And in the Grand Palace area, there is a model of Angkor Wat built as a symbol of the occupation. If I remember correctly, the ticket to the Grand Palace also serves as a free ticket to see a Khon performance at the Chalermkrung Theatre, with a shuttle bus in front of the Grand Palace.😊

❤😅_In the Grand Palace, there is a small model of Angkor Wat, built during the reign of King Rama IV because Thailand was going to give up some of Cambodia's territory to France because before that, Cambodia was under Thai rule. King Rama IV ordered to move Angkor Wat to Thailand, but it could not be done because it was too big and there was too little time to complete it. Therefore, he ordered a model to be built as a symbol that Cambodia and Angkor Wat used to belong to Thailand (and more importantly, the ancestors of Thailand were the ones who built Angkor Wat, not the native Khmers as Cambodians think). __ End of the recommendation about the model of Angkor Wat in the Grand Palace with the beautiful person I love and miss.❤❤
