Search For Cabinet Secretaries Enters Day Two

The process of vetting the Cabinet Secretary nominees continued Saturday, with 5 nominees facing the Parliamentary Committee on Appointments. Former Cabinet Minister Charity Ngilu faced a barrage of questions on her alleged involvement in multi-billion shillings scandals and whether she was ready to shelf her political life if cleared for appointment to head the Land, Housing and Urban Development docket. Dr Fred Matiang'i, James Macharia, Prof Judi Wakhungu and Eng Micheal Kamau also appeared before the vetting panel.
