Search underway in Alaska for missing plane carrying 10 people

A frantic search is underway for a Bering Air plane carrying 10 people that went missing while traveling between two small towns over the western coast of Alaska. The plane lost contact with air traffic control about 10 minutes before its scheduled arrival. NBC’s Ryan Nobles reports for TODAY.

there's some inconsistencies in this. Different sources have reported the wreckage was found 34 miles from the airport, which is plausible due to the holding pattern or loss of visibility?

Plane was found 34 miles southeast of Nome. 3 people were found initially inside the plane until further examination found the remaining inside as well but weren't able to get to them due to the crumbled wreckage. (Source: I live in Nome and the word traveled fast from the fire department.)

I assure you Biden would have stopped that helicopter pilot from being 200’ above her allowed altitude. Kamilla, she was on top of that. With her faked interviews. She would have saved them. They are just using this to fuel some fire. Because who isn’t afraid of a plane crash. They are literally instruments of terror. There isn't a lot of flights in and out of Nome. There really is no excuse for that runway to not be ready when they arrived. If they didn't have to circle they would have landed just fine when they got there. Lazy and very unprofessional would explain this to a T. It's cold outside and they didn't want to do their job until the very last minute.
