I remember this episode when I was growing up! The Munsters were slapstick comedy, just like "Gilligan's Island." One episode that was particularly funny when Herman was searching for Marilyn and started singing "Marilyn, Marilyn, Marylin, Marylin! Life is but a dream!" and laughed at his own singing voice being echoed back at him!

Yes, very funny! Loved Herman's character of being like a big innocent kid. Remember one episode where Herman said words to the effect of, "why can't life be like Mary Poppins?" I also laughed heartily at Herman removing the giant "Doggy Din Din's" can that Eddie left behind after feeding spot, or Lily openenig the oven to check if the chicken was done, and there was a live chicken in there when she opened the door. One time, my older brother went with my mom to the Munster house and the prop men showed my brother how to operate the staircase opening, and explained how they literally shot all of the webbing all over the house out of a conical device. I was envious that he got to see that, and I didn't!

I loved the episode when Herman buys a used car for Marilyn and lily told him to take it back. Herman said that the used car salesman might get mad at him. Hilarious.

Hilarious! Thanks for posting! From 0:42-1:12 the "Leave it to Beaver" facade house is seen. This was filmed on Universal's back lot. My mom was working there during this time, 1964-66.

5:51- Herman sure thought he'd outsmarted the 'Head Martian' by telling him that he couldn't threaten him since he didn't know where he[Herman] was but the 'Head Martian' outflanked Herman by exclaiming that 'in that case, I'll just have to blow up the Planet Earth!' Yeah, Herman instantly panicked (though how he thought their 'coffin phone' would save his family from our planet exploding is puzzling). However, it's safe to say that if Mr. Andrews [AKA the 'Head Martian'] saw Herman, HE'd have run screaming for the hills!
