It would not have helped, since Savjz only had 4 mana and couldn't play any toxins he got. Even if it did help, Shaku has inherent stealth and would have been just as effective (if not more since he could have gotten a removal from the random card). Playing Shaku wouldn't have won the game but it certainly would have gave him more of a chance

This is what I want in the game also. Face takes strategy out of the game, unless you consider 'strategy' to be lucky at drawing the card order for face. They need to seriously nerf fast cards. Everybody who I speak to just defends their decision to make face decks by "I want to farm gold", and while on the subject, their policy on card pack prices and gold earned is way too severe which forces poorer people to do this method.

Most face decks and face players don't make decisions, they just play everything they have, ignore the opponents board and hit face. Sure there's depth in building such a deck, but it makes for an incredibly dull match. People are eliminating the reason to think through their moves, which for me personally is part of the fun. I don't mind playing against face decks, but I don't enjoy playing them. Each to their own really, but I get more enjoyment out of decision making than grinding.

in my opinion an easy change would be to set every hero to 40 health. Combos can still kill with alextrasa for example and face-decks would have to use some mid-game finisher. Value decks wouldnt change.

Feels like xaril after vanish at 10:15 is wrong. You know opponent has SI in hand at this point so xaril dies pretty cheaply. shaku would've been able to clear a 2/2 which would've extended your life a little bit and maybe helped you find an answer. I don't think xaril's toxins really help much except for the 2 dmg toxin and you already have the razorpetal in hand so it doesn't help in the case you want to play malygos and clear.

Yeah, I think you're right about Xaril. He seems more like icing on the cake. Malygos seems like it might be more important for a finisher, though. Never played the Arcane Giant Miracle deck. I've generally always taken some sort of burst version. My current deck is running 2 red mana worms, 2 questing adventurers, Edward, and Leeroy, as well as 2 cold bloods. With the new removal advantages of vilespine and the envenom weapon, you can clear the way pretty easy for some insane face damage.

I find that I can more happily drop one down without buffing it (or just minor buffs), and my opponent is forced to kill it with some sort of hard removal. But that this doesn't end up hurting my play, as I have plenty more miracle minions in the deck to follow it up with. Given that conceal is cut, it's much harder to rely on single minions to win the match for you. But you could also be right. I might try cutting 1 of the questing/wyrms. Not sure what I'd replace it with, right now, though.

Malygos -> Razorpetal -> Shadowstep malygos -> Next turn -> Malygos -> 3x Razorpetal. Total of 24 damage over 2 turns. That or you can coin in lots of razorpetals on the same turn. Last thing is that Malygos is an important minion for the oppoenent to target as otherwise you will most likely loose the turn after from all the low cost burst rogues can do.

Cyan Light it is literally only good in grind match ups which in the current meta is literally just the mirror and taunt warrior. It's terrible against Hunter since the army of 3/2s trade up to it, it's terrible against pirates, and it's terrible against 1 mana 5/5. Also considering this deck went to fatigue it is fairly safe to say it wouldn't do well against exodia mage since it won't pressure fast enough (which is the same reason it'll lose go quest rogue). The only chance Miracle Rogue has in some of these match ups are big questing/edwin in which case Sharazin brings nothing to the table. The card still isn't good because it gets obliterated by aggro decks trading up and control/midrange decks changing the card itself (poly/hex/devolve).

The point isn't "this card is the greatest thing ever and will win all matchups forever for you" it's "this card can actually be triggered multiple times in the right deck and is thus situationally high value, something that many, many people said was basically impossible with the current card pool."

The problem is that high value isn't that valuable. Just look at how lackluster anub'arak has been, despite being the best to get off journey against control warrior and freeze mage. Rogues do not need to generate much more value, because of auctioneer and cheap spells, but generating enough tempo. The problem is, and always was to survive without any healing and a hero power that damages you. That's why you play high tempo spells like backstab and prep.

@Taeerom You got that only half right. Rogues are the tempo class by design. They have all the removal, efficent minions and probably the best hero power disregarding lifetap. Still, the predominant strategy for the class isn´t tempo, its combo. High value cards are as good for rogues as they are for any other class, but currently don´t have a home (midrange rogue is scarse at best and control plainly doesn´t exist). You don´t play backstab and prep for the tempo (in fact, tempo decks often don´t run prep) you play prep ´cos its broken as hell and backstab because its just good, always (literally every single rogue deck packs BS).

I think that it is because it was in that dormant state, it wasn't the card itself. On the other hand the opponent's was the card and that's why it got vanished.

His was "dormant." Vanish only returns "minions" to hand. A creature with the "dormant" effect is not considered an active minion on the board.

I have 4,000 dust and don't have Edwin, Sherazin, Bloodmage. Will it be wise to invest all my dust building this deck. Maybe an Arcane Giant version instead of Malygos. How do you guys think?

The deck is definitely fun. Bloodmage is one of the most versatile legendaries and so is Edwin if you like the Rogue class. Since there aren't too many cheap archetypes except Zoo and Hunter at the moment (quest is one guaranteed legendary) I'd say go for it if you feel like this is your favorite deck. I think a version without Malygos is stronger, you could include Patches / Leeroy if you have them. The core cards of this deck will hopefully remain unchanged in standard for the next 2 years and maybe some useful cards will be added in the coming expansions. I got both Rogue legendaries out of packs (already decided before release when everybody deemed the quest shit I wanted to play it) and after the sudden rise in quest rogue popularity switched to the midrange version and crafted Leeroy, Bloodmage, Patches and Edwin. For me it was worth it.

Yes, rogue is my favorite class along with paladin, but unfortunately, Mr.Uther doesn't shine that bright this expansion so I think I will go for it now. Arcance Giant looks pretty handsome indeed. Maybe I can try customizing things like Journey Below, Mimic Pods or Shadowcaster into the deck. That would be so much fun to build and play. I deemed Un'Goro worthy enough to do my first real pack opening and preordered them along with my 10 other packs from gold, brawl, and login rewards. Got 5 legendaries (hunter and warrior quest and a now disenchanted Tarim ;( ) 2 Mimic Pods made it into all my versions of the deck and I tried Journey Below once. (if you don't run pirates or hallucination as a turn 1 play / 1 mana thing I'd suggest it) You can get stuff like Xaril or a second Sherazin from it. Shadowcaster can copy Sherazin which's copies turn to a 5/3 again or Vilespine which is also insane but I replaced it with a second Vilespine in my latest variant for reliability. i.imgur.com/AbCNeUX.png This is what I'm running at the moment. If you don't have the pirates you can still replace them with a 2/1* fire fly + 1/2* journey below. But feel free to include your own ideas since that makes the deckbuilding really fun (Tar Creeper against aggro...)

I generally like him but around 3 mana I often just try to build up my combo and try to maintain board control the best I can. Edwin is nice with the +2/+2 but I think Questing is a bit too slow imo and would often be a dead card in your hand. But feel free to use him!

You guys complain about people going face, how do u win then? Fatigue every game? Just because some play aggro, some play mid range, and some play control, doesn't mean u should judge them. I think all Types are fun, and take different strategies and approaches. Look at zoo, its is an aggro deck, but because of the strong minions, the deck favors trading more to efficiently win board control so they can hit face. No deck type should be called "Brain dead" just because you guys are sore losers. If ppl Want to rank up, they are obviously going to play what they know as "good decks". Dont judge because they want to win. IF Originality means that much to u, then stop playing ladder. Its the same as mtg, net decks will always exist. We all have the same goal, Get the opponents life total to zero, just different ways to go about it.

Pirate Warrior Not exactly fatigue, but good setups and decision making to turn a match in your favor. The rogues shown in the vid are miracle rogues than drawn obscenely fast, other control deck won't have reached fatigue yet.
