This wasn't drugs.. this is PTSD.. The camera acted like a trigger and he got triggered.. His fears about his children being filmed got triggered. Past betrayals got triggered. Anybody who has been through trauma will understand this. He was very traumatised and very particular about protecting his children.

Anyone who uses the word "trigger" should die instantly.

louloutre why tho? it's an actual thing that happens to people. should psychologist s stop using it because it became a meme?
@louloutre7 жыл бұрын
My comment was exaggerated, of course. I really do think this word is misused by many self-diagnosing young people. Psychology isn't an exact science.... a certified psychologist can make a mistake. Besides psychiatry and pills are a business : www.cchrint.org/psychiatric-disorders/ I've seen all these young people on Tumblr claiming they have such and such trauma, it became trendy. Suddenly they have "social anxiety disorder" because they don't want to go to school. I think every person on this earth has a memory of not wanting to go to school at a certain point.... but luckily, we had parents to tell us to grow up and deal with the world. We had parents to tell us that yes, it's not always easy to deal with people, that social interaction takes some effort, but that it's what enables to experience things, to grow, to have a full life. Now a lot of young people use mental disease to make the world adapt to them, and that's no ok. They will only end up very unhappy by doing this.
@globalcitizenn7 жыл бұрын
louloutre Wow you are presumptuous. Michael Jackson was not some "young person who went through everyday struggles". He was put through the kind of mental abuse and trauma no human being has endured nor should have to endure. PTSD and Post Traumatic Stress is very real. You obviously neither have personal experience of it nor Professional knowledge to comment about it. I hope you (and a lot of people out there) educate yourselves more about Depression, anxiety, PTSD, Narcissistic abuse, Domestic violence dynamics, Betrayal bonds so they can tell the difference between serious issues from everyday stuff.
@louloutre7 жыл бұрын
@globalcitizenn : my comment was about the turn psychiatry has taken in general, and the overuse of psychiatric terms and self-diagnosis by young people who are self-indulgent. I didn't talk about Michael Jackson and I've never said PTSD isn't real. I'll repeat what I think about his mental state : I can honestly say I didn't like what MJ had become at this point, but I can understand why. I really do think the allegations killed him mentally and I don't think he was completely in his right mind while raising his kids. The Bashir documentary, even as edited and manipulated as it was, shows some concerning moments and reactions.If you look at interviews from the 80's or early 90's, he wasn't the same man. He had that sheer intelligence in his eyes, the fantasy and the creativity were obvious, but he was still well-grounded and not cut from reality. I won't argue with you about him having some kind of mental illness while he had his kids. Sorry but his obsession with hiding his kids was ridiculous.... knowing who he was... and the whole idea of buying children from a woman to recreate his childhood with them without having to deal with a woman sucked. By doing this, he hurt his children and himself. It didn't work with Lisa, they were plenty of nice girls to start a family with. After the allegations, he led his life as a crazy spoiled Hollywood superstar, and he was treated like one. That's my opinion, and it doesn't mean I would've coped better. In fact, people keep on telling how fragile he was, but I think most of them would've killed themselves if they had to go through his life. Now don't tell me to educate myself.... in fact, I'm tired with young people half my age constantly telling everyone to "educate" themselves because they don't agree with their opinions. Take a look at the site I linked : www.cchrint.org/psychiatric-disorders/behaviors-are-not-diseases/ Go to the vids session, listen to the many psychiatrists who criticize modern psychiatry and how it is influenced by the business of drugs. Listen to the testimony of the many people who were wrongly diagnosed. A kid has a lot of energy, give him Ritalin. NO!!!!! It's who he/she is.... make him/her do lots of sports, buy him a dog, stimulate his mind....

Perfect example of post traumatic stress. After all he has been through I don't blame him for being paranoid around cameras. I wouldn't be so quick to blame drugs.

It wasn't drugs, let's not forget at one paparrazi would sneak into the public restrooms he was in trying to get pictures. He just wanted ONE moment in the public without any cameras, and the pool camera just brought back memories, plus he was very scared about his children being filmed without HIS permission.
@globalcitizenn7 жыл бұрын
terry byrd What facts? The bodyguards saw no drugs.. read their book. They are wondering and assuming if it was drugs here to attribute some kind of explanation to this behaviour, because like most lay people, they probably don't understand PTSD to have thought of it, they don't know any better.. like you. But they did respond wonderfully, in a sympathetic way, so intuitively, they responded right.

I always felt like after that child molestation trial in 2005, Michael never got over that. He was drained, mentally, emotionally, and I believe spiritually. This made it harder for him to trust anyone, and in the result, he became very paranoid. Can you blame him? Each time he trusted someone, they ended up fucking him over, showing they were nothing but leeches from the start. I honestly think Michael got tired of living. Yet, the only thing that was helping him to push through were the love his children.

You can tell MJ's been through a lot. People can only take so much before they loose it like this, drugs or no drugs. I do not think drugs played a part in what went on right there. MJ wanted to please his kids and go back to Neverland, but they made it an evil place, no longer a happy place for Michael and his kids to live. Once the police rid your house like you are some type of sex offender, it is no longer a peaceful loving magical place that it once was. I know MJ was found not guilty, but still the magic died. If you know what I mean, and a part of MJ died right along with it, when he had to leave his happy home.

This scene really made me sad, Michael wanted to live a normal life. I actually wish the conspiracy about Michael faking his death is real and he’s out their living a normal life.
@dechale3 жыл бұрын
At the end of this movie, I started to think he actually did fake his death because it makes SO much sense if you think about it. He said that he would no longer be in debt anymore and I'm sure he knew that once he died, he would be worth more. He made more money when he "died" compared to when he was alive, so he paid off all the debts he had. Everyone got paid and everything, that was probably the only way(other than doing the tour, but that was too much for him). He wasn't even in control of his own money, so yeah. I wouldn't put it past a celebrity, we never know what happens behind closed doors. It's always good to have an open mind and to not believe everything you hear/see.

@christophertelesford75793 жыл бұрын
@@elektriceyes_giza84 Yeah, but it would be extremely difficult or better yet impossible for someone like Michael Jackson to fake his death. At least not on his own or just with a few people. The staff of the hospital Michael died in, the cops, medics and and every government in the world would have to be involved in something like that. And another thing is that Michael wouldn't leave his children like that. He's probably not in the spotlight but his children are now not on MJ's level but paparazzi are still annoyingly present.
@christophertelesford75793 жыл бұрын
@@elektriceyes_giza84 From the movie it just seemed that all Michael wanted was to be with his children and going on tour would've earned him enough to buy that big house for him and his children and I think that was the ultimate reason for why he was doing it.. But yeah I didn't know he didn't have a name on his grave or that his name was wrong on his death certificate and that other stuff mentioned. Thats pretty suspicious. Maybe it all was a scheme. But I just don't think Mike trusted the American government to collaborate with given that all the bullshii originated from his own country. And I heard that ever since Michael had the USSR hide him from the world the American government developed a negative attitude towards Michael. I used to think that Michael was a double agent.😂 That man was the most famous person in the world, governments had to ask him to do something.

Michael had a reason to react this way. According to one of his former bodyguards named Kerry Anderson who was w/ him from '04 - '06, there were times when Michael went shopping with his kids and was promised by the shop owner that the cameras were turned off and the next day, the footage had been sold to the media. He spoke on this in a podcast interview; it was a very good and revealing interview, by the way, that I would recommend people to listen to. It's uploaded here on YT if anyone is interested. Kerry gave a lot of insight on just how bad things were when he worked for Michael because he was with Michael during that trial. A lot of people don't know this but, Michael had to go to court in a bulletproof vest because there were so many death threats against him. At one point, some lunatic even showed up to Neverland with a gun. I'll be honest -- I almost got emotional when he was talking about verdict day and how Michael was so emotionally broken that he, literally, dropped to his knees in tears as they were putting the vest on him so they could drive to the courthouse for the verdict. According to the bodyguard, a man threatened to blow Michael's head off if he was acquitted. Crazy... When you put the different elements of this man's life into perspective, it's no surprise he was paranoid about everything. I would've probably been a bit loopy, myself. It's a wonder the guy never killed himself with all happened to him.

I do not blame Michael Jackson if he did become paranoid he had every reason to be! One - he had stalkers that slept outside his home from all over the world two -he was protective of his children cause he kept getting death threats on them and three -every person in his life used him, took advantage of him, tried to sue him ,and four he was never the same after the 1993 allegations! I've studied it for years and he was innocent! He actually saved thousands of sick children's lives and never once molested one! The first accuser commited suicide days after Michael died!!! The second was found by entertainment tonight a couple months ago and said Michael never touched him! Please do the research ! Evan chandler wanted money not MJ in prison! Think about it! If my child were molested you could not pay to not send the man to prison! Evan was jealous cause Michael was dating the mother of his child. You can hear the set up on KZbin .

Yes, and of all those gold digger parents that made their child lie for money, not one took their child to the ER to get an exam done. If Michael was guilty, that right there would have put him away. You don't demand money, you get your kid taken care of first and get all your prof you need done and be ready to go to court. The judge don't want hearsay, they ask for prof after prof. If it was so easy to get money this way, all the gold diggers and the one's hard up on money would try this type of thing with other people they know.

Set Corbin Living with quilt with something like frickin up a good man's life with calling him a pedo, and getting your kid involved to get money can replay over and over in your mind, because the quilt will not go away. It is possible that the quilt of this might have drove the man to do this to himself, because of the quilt replaying over and over in his mind. I do not know about the rest of you guys on here, but I sure in the hell couldn't live with myself and the quilt would eat me up. I do not know how anyone that has done another person so damn god awful wrong,, and use innocent kids (their own) as a tool to get money out of someone can live with themselves. If I did that to someone, I wouldn't last a year after doing a god awful thing like this to someone. What good is all that money, if you are ate up with quilt? Money can't buy you true love, and it will never buy you your health back, or can get rid of all the quilt. Money can not buy you a clean conscience.

Navi isn't perfect in this role, but you can tell his heart and soul went into getting these emotions right. He loves Michae, respects him. That's all I could hope for. And you have to admit, this movie is much better than that awful film Man in the Mirror that came out I think during his trial.

He was SO protective when it came to people getting pictures of his children because he knew how that felt. To have cameras in his face ALL the time as a kid and not only that, he might've had a bad experience as a child with a camera present. There's no telling what they did to Michael when he was a kid, he never could speak for himself because he was a child. That's why I do think that he had a mental problem(because of trauma, of course). Also, Michael knew he couldn't escape that because "they" were watching him, "they" were gonna kill him. He said that and he knew. Maybe he did fake his death, maybe he didn't. If he did, I'm glad because he can finally be happy or at least a little at ease. All he wanted was happiness, love, friendship, PEACE. That's ALL he wanted. IF he did fake his death, it's sad that he had to do that to get peace😞He was a billionaire on paper, but he didn't have physical cash and he wasn't in control of his OWN money. His life was worse than I thought😭

This is what you call PTSD, this isn't a drug reaction my dad suffers ptsd from his time in the miltary you learn certain triggers to watch out for. Poor Michael Jackson was tired of being the king of pop. He just wanted to be a dad. I get panic attacks in bad situations it's NOT ALL drug related it's emotional & mental most times. I think this movie is highly under rated Navi did a wondeful job as Michael as a family man that's all he wanted to be. H had hia moment in the sun & wantex to retire to watch his children grow sadly he didn't get that chance. I hope Michael is able to rest in peace now
