Bruce Bay's Enchanting Secret: The Quest for Snow Quartz
As we continued our trip around the South Island of New Zealand we heard that snow Quartz was to be found in plentiful amounts at a delightful place called Bruce Bay. The beauty of the vista could get no better even on a subpar day, even the sandflies could not take from the picturesque symphony beheld.

Wow to the sandflies!!! pretty driftwood - pretty mica too. The shine on the snow quartz is good. Still jealous of your trip - thanks for sharing! Yummy to the agates, I thought you just cut them, but seeing it large & polished is striking too

@@largent45 there's something mesmerising about this snow quartz it keeps catching my gaze and feels satisfying just holding it, might be that it's one of my newer rocks.

Those mozzies sounded terrifying at first I thought you had just added sound effects! Snow quartz is one of my favourite crystals/rocks though sadly none of mine are from NZ.
