Well Kev, looks like the river has paid you for the mudlarking...lol Now George, no playing with the dead rat..lol The first little bottle Kev found looks to me like a Not to Be Taken/Poison.the large one that looked like stoneware/pottery could be an ink bottle.the Gin bottle looks to me like an older one and possible Victorian! Late 1800 to very early 1900. The tiny bottle George had looks to be a perfume bottle and the other large bottle that looked hexagon, it looks Victorian too. Great bottle finds I must day! Great video guys and camera lady you do a great job filming as well! George, you are going to have to start posting weekly again!!! I can’t believe the changes in just two weeks,,lol! Hey fellas, good to see you guys getting out there! A tip for determining the age of bottles is to see whether the glass is cast or blown. Look for seam lines running along the length of the bottle, this would show that it’s a more modern cast bottle, the older bottles would have been blown therefore no seams and you can often find bubbles and inclusions within the glass. Best wishes all 👍

The larger bottles are older. They are not screw top and they don't have a seam going up the neck.

Thanks for the info, we don’t know much about old bottles. Thanks for watching 👍

@@Magneticg That's what i said it won't stay that clear for long. SADLY!!!! Within a day or three & it be looking like a watery scrapyard 👎👎👎👎😠😠😠😠😠😠 People if you can call them a person ( I WOULDN'T!!!!) are simp!y TOO BLOODY LAZY!!!! ( excuse my profanities =swearing) to take their rubbish down the road to the scrapyard or recyling centres. I do hope they feel good about thernselves NOT!!!! destroying the environment that is ment to be enjoyed not smelling of corroded food & many, many, many other things that damage the waterways. Good Luck George & to your also hard working dad both work wel! & hard at doing what you do both. Helping to do what the cities councils fail to do. "CLEAN UP"!!! the waterways ( canals mainly) 😁😉👍

It’s a great feeling to clean up a stretch of river. But how long it will stay clean for probably isn’t that long 🥲

Lil bottle was most likely an extract bottle. Like a little rootbeer extract 5.1 bottle
