As always, I'm amazed at the history you find. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't totally envious. Discovering a hobby like yours really sucks if you don't discover it until you're my age (79). Fabulous finds Matt!! You guys were diggin in concrete. Thanks for sharing. Nothing like finding a wheatie in a civil war site. Some days are like that. Sweet scabbard tip. Please explain the mineral water. I don't know or understand. Sorry that is new to me. I love watching your videos because I learn new things. Thanks again!

In 1995 i metal detected an confederate boot camp. The place was pretty well picked over .In fact i had pretty well given up hunting civil war relics and began detecting old trash piles popping out zinc mason jar lids ,bet you can't guess what popped out next? The holy grail of civil war relics , a CS belt buckle ,wow what a find.picked up a .54 caliber sharps that day as well. Good hunting gentleman

@@GoneDiggin fortunately i had a union generals diary do you know how to use the national archives?being up north the skys the limit from the 1600's on you can get full sized maps in the 90's i founded a club (historical. Research and Discovery Association) i did heavy research state archeologist coming to me for information
