Pooh Corner in Hartfield in East Sussex, England, was my starting point for a fun day exploring the pretty countryside where the Winnie the Pooh stories first came to life. British author AA Milne wrote the first Winnie The Pooh books in the 1920s, inspired by his son, Christopher Robin and his collection of stuffed animals. Pooh Corner was once a shop where Christopher Robin bought sweets. It is now a tea room and this was a great place to stop at for a smackeral of lunch. From there, I went on my own little adventure to find the real Pooh Bridge for a game of Poohsticks, and to hunt for the homes of Pooh, Piglet and Owl in the Hundred Acre Wood.
