For crabs we use chicken necks and gizzards. Put it in a nylon bag or sock and tie it to the trap

I was out this weekend near the catfish spot on the canal you posted just recently. Me and my son pulled up a half dozen No1’s and two dozen smalls and mediums on some trout backs. Had a blast! Enjoy your videos. Keep on posting! God bless.

I think it just the time of year. They’re shedding right now. It’ll start picking up again soon.

Looks good Vin, my son and I went right there by the crown point launch Friday, we caught 10 blue cats between 5 and 10 pounds. Only thing they would bite is cut shad that we caught with the castnet. Lots of fun.

I actually bring a Ziploc bag of disposable gloves when I go crabbing to wear when I bait my traps. This way, no need to wash my hands or contaminate my gear. Also, what is that band looking thing on your rode mic that's connected to your shirt? The wind filter accessory never stays on to mine and always falls off.

I put tiny rubber bands to keep the wind filer on there.

Being from the Alabama Gulf Coast even though I think our food is excellent Cajun food is my favorite. We do have a decent amount of Cajun and Creole influence here too. Southern food in general is the best in the world though. Especially the seafood. Love your channel. I've watching your older videos since I found you. I worked in fire/ems till a year or so ago myself.

Great video man. If I can ask, whats the name of the cut you get for your Dog? I'm tired of my water dog looking like a teddy bear, I want that sporty look.
