Searching Yugioh Packs Without Scaling or Weighing (Aluminum Foil Trick)

A lesser known way of searching Yugioh booster packs using nothing more than a strip of aluminum foil.

@@ShockMaster121 Lol I remember you could walk into Toys R Us and the packed would just be loose packed on shelves out in the open. Blisters weren't a think yet. Funny thing is that I'd actually prefer to find blisters these days. I feel like your odds might be improved because I don't trust pull rates on anything less than an order for a whole case. You get vendors that will open displays until they hit the chase card and then list the rest online.

@@nzt29 Yeah I pretty much assume any loose pack now has been scaled. I did get lucky in this video with those IoC packs though because I ordered them on ebay loose and still pulled Big Burn. But I usually buy blisters or boxes for sure.

Hey so I have a tournament pack 1st season but for europe english edition, I tried doing this but nothing is showing up, wondering if its a super rare? or maybe my aluminum foil might be different then the one you are using. Lmk what you think? Thanks!

One problem with these old tournament packs is that its possible to get all common cards. So in your case you either have a pack with all commons or a super rare. Unfortunately the pull odds for a super rare in this pack are (1 in 18) so it's likely you have a pack with all common cards :( Also the pull odds for an ultra rare from this pack are 1 in 108 which is why TP1 Ultra's can go for thousands of $$$

Also make sure you are checking the back most card

What is the aluminum foil you are using? Is it the aluminum of the pack?

No its just regular aluminum foil from the store lol.

As far as I know this will work on any pack that contains Rares, Ultra Rares, and Secret Rares; you just have to know the position of the card. I watched TP1 pack opening videos so I knew which card in the stack was gonna be the rare one.

@@DRRP96 its hard as hell haha, easiest way is to push them all to one side and then carefully shimmy one card at a time with your fingernail, but just be gentle. It was easy with this 3 card pack but the 9 card packs are tricky
