I don't know why, but this small part at 1:39-1:43 with ascending little melody feels so surreal and dreamy, especially in orchestral version. And the emotion of it is familiar to me, but I have no idea where I could have heard such harmony before. It feels like something from Resident Evil 2 or other games from PS1 era, like something from my childhood. Great arrangement! On piano it is much more prominent how unnerving and tense it is in some parts, like at the beggining.

Nice, I liked all the arrangements here, especially how you captured the intensity of the Heart theme also, what piano do you use?

It's an old Yamaha P-85, which itself has a good tone but not the one heard here. The midi signal is running into a VST on my computer ; PianoTeq 6, on its Steinway setting, with some extra customisation on my part to give it more depth, resonance etc.

Anything from an hour to a few hours, depending on its complexity. This includes transcribing it to begin with.

Yeah, like, it is so versatile and detailed, that I always find something new and interesting in it while playing the game. For me it is half the experience of the game, you can just chill with great music.
