Had no idea Logic had such an awesome drum replacement feature. Like you said, I've also been using trigger 2 lately, and although I won't stop (Im in protools 95% of the time), that Logic one is awesome stuff.

The logic one is not bad, just have to make sure the drums have clear hits to trigger from!

Such a good video. Maybe my favourite drum mixing video I've seen. I'd love a video on when to choose different compressors and what some compressors are better for compared to others (and why). Like I have no idea about the different qualities of the different logic compressors or why you'd choose one over another

So would you say it's okay to mix using headphones not speakers? Also which headphones would you recommend?

Yeah it’s totally fine to mix on headphones, you just need to reference and make sure you understand how things are supposed to to sound through your headphones. It’s All about learning the monitoring you have available. I like Steven Slate VSX and beyerdynamic dt770 pro’s,
