I had a riding mower, TWIN Onan engine. Hi-Low range, And after 30 years, the tires still hold air. It finally gave up the ghost....

These machines are amazing. We have one and I love it. The one at 1:03 the st/12, we have a mowing deck now but my Grandpa had it just to plow the garden, and push snow. If you ever see one in good shape for sale, buy it you won't regret it.

Great little tractors. I have two that are no longer being used. One is an SS15 and it was a tank. Used it like a bush hog to mow around fields for years as well as cut my lawn. I doubt if the mowers of today will be around 45 years from now.

They sure were/are very versatile machines.

I have a18 hp. Sub . Have all the impediments for it . Does a real good job plowing or planting . I enjoy working my garden with it . I have a earth way planter and all the plates . I have planted corn green beans, okra, and more recently for a fall garden . Wright now my figs are getting ripe . Having to fight the chickens off them . Corn should be getting ready to pick soon . I got it in the ground late . Tomatoes are tasting great. Green beans are starting to make Squash were eaten up by bugs in just over nite .

I have one that doesn’t have a white hood - factory paint - how unusual is that? Looks exactly like a 73 st-16

Good 70's reference, but missing the 19.9. Think that was a '78 or '79 model? An 80's reference vid would be good. Wouldn't blame you for not wanting to do one though. There isn't as much nostalgic interest for the post-suburban GT's.

Those thing were built like tanks and would last forever with proper maintenance. Can't say that about today's mowers built in Mexico.
