I had the same tractor, same snowblower. I gave it to my neighbor in '03. I could still kick my ass.

probably the best example on youtube of just how much performance you can get out of these old onan powered SS16s with the single stage blower. Smooth, powerful, durable. Very impressive.

When are you going to make more videos like this ? I don't find it boring AT ALL. I'm actually Quite fascinated on how well that snow blower works on a riding mower. I will have a setup like yours someday. For now I will continue to use my single stage snow blower. Please make more videos like this. The longer the video, the better. lol

That wasn't boring at all. Well, maybe to some people. Sears tractor guys don't think so anyway. I got the same blower on a GT 18, and love it. That baby through a lot of snow this winter.

The SS16 is better for blowing snow I have an SS10 &12 they both do not have quite the balls to toss the snow more then 2 feet out the chute. Also wet snow is difficult to toss, but the 16hp seems to get the auger up to speed to get some distance on the toss. If you have an SS10 or SS12 my suggestion is plow the snow rather then blowing it. Or only use it on fluffy powdery snow. Great machines!!

I'm excited. I recently picked one of these up and they are really rare in my neck of the woods (Nova Scotia). It sat in a heated, dry basement for 30 years! I'm just in the process of fixing it up and figuring it out. kzbin.info/aero/PLrWz3oO-JDoiW5vtrBXkIRY9W7UF_s_T-

Man, what was I doing not subscribed to you? What a great video! Does that engine smoke any?
@starpuss10 жыл бұрын
She looked to be smoking a little when I first got it , But after a good engine flush and oil change she did not burn any in the 20hours I put on her over the winter.

Nice video, thanks for taking the time to record it. I've been on my GT19.9 all morning getting the neighborhood drives opened up. Love the Onan's for keeping up with the blower, miss the cab I had on my 'Burban 12
