Best thing to do if you are worried someone will comment on your fly, whether it's a fly or a lure. Don't listen to them because they are idiots. If you tied it and you like it that's all that matters. I personally don't like foam and plastics, but that is just my taste, when I tie. But this fly looks like it will catch a lot of fish.

I always say: if you are usinf a "fly" that imitates food, it is a fly! Those "purists" do not hesitate to use á brassie etc and say they are flies. Bút then turn theyr noses at other fly designs.

No, but I have played around with using the football beads backwards and I think they look good too
