122Music, I am hoping to God that this virus isolation tragedy has taught us all to look at what's important & what we been wasting our time paying attention to. I hope my 22 yr old daughter's generation feels the same & I can tell she does. Her & her Boyfriend went fishing & camping & when they got to go out, they've only been hanging out with us or his relatives.

I’ve watched Steve talk to a crowd of thousands in a field in summer while he pulls up a lady to serenade and the whole field didn’t have a problem. There was plenty of talking in the crowd but it was a festival. Fair enough. I’m not a full time musician but if the music’s good and the banter from performer, particularly someone like Steve, is part of the show then, yeah it’s cool. Normally at a decent venue you’d just have a word with the door staff and tell them about the prick making the noise. Normally works. Sometimes you just tell them to shut the fuck up if you can be bothered with hassle that night. But I love and live for it so I tend try both.

Had never heard of Seasick Steve till the New Year of 2016/17 (31/12/16) - and was mesmerised by his playing. And have always thought Glenn Campbell's version of Gentle on My Mind couldn't be beaten - although Dean Martin's version is a close 2nd. But Steve's version has so much feeling and pathos - I'm going to have to have a re-think! And whereas Glenn's Roadies/Security would have kicked that loudmouth right outta the show, I truly believe Steve would have done it himself, had it become necessary! :-)
