9:45 using the grinder is the last option I did it many times. Two mounting levers from your workbench and some nuts or peaces of something to put under to create a strong leverage are all you really need. I was always surprise how easy it went off.

Great video. Question: my 106 start to do a high pitch noise at speeds above 50km/h. Could it be the front wheel bearing? Cheers.

That strut looked surprisingly easy to handle and carry. A benefit of working on smaller cars, I guess.

Excellent work, the front of the bearing often falls apart when you push the hub out, the whole process is always a fight, strangely satisfying to do however. Those struts look like they were found on an archaeological dig! 😅

@@SeasideGarage dude I sympathise ours are no field trip but I can imagine it’s even worse for you. They weren’t beyond restoration however I’ve had to chip my way through similar in the past. Those circlips were in there though, jeez!

I was on the MOT and tyhe bearing was not oke in one front wheel, but when I drive the car I do hear nothing strange, also not with taking a corner. Is then the bearing bad or is it a other sound.

Mine axle bold in middel of wheel is quite vastened, and even a big pin do bent.

you should have told people that some of the bearings only go in one way as it might of had abs so the magnet ring goes close to the abs sensor even tho yours didn't have abs

I never heard of abs rings being in the bearing? On these cars the abs ring (if fitted) are located on the driveshaft. :)
