Now if we could only get a Music Box. Hear me out. Pun not intended. A music box gramophone thing that sits on the quest table or hangs like the pet cage. A "music machine" that can play shanties as you sail. Solo sailing without a mate to play music is very much isolation. Could be a music box, or a one-man-band in a box like a American Fotoplayer.

I’m most excited for a bug that got fixed, on Xbox with Kbm I was unable to shoot while aiming or swing my sword while blocking, but they thankfully dealt with it and I can fight normally now

The combat changes and everything evolving around that aspect is perfect. The games been out for a long time I think it’s a good thing to have a new “meta” and a way to battle differently. Them fixing the hit reg still and still working on it for future updates is actually amazing and will make the combat more satisfying. Btw I love what they are doing with the swords. A true pirate will be excited about that as well!

Removing a mechanic that makes for a huge skill difference and makes a weapon combination fun is not "creating a new meta". The reason sword wasn't meta is because it was too inconsistant to properly reward skill, which has been fixed. The quickswitching removal only makes it less fun. And there are already ways to bypass the removal.

@@Cqat1 Shooting two weapons back to back doesn’t take skill. 0 skill it’s actually the easiest thing to do. Using a sword takes more skill than using a gun… just so you know. The update is out so if you don’t like it then nobody is forcing you to play it.

@Rosa_101 i don't think you understand how much skill goes into perfectly incorporating quickswitching into your movement, how to properly do spacing, and how to evade shots. If you think that just shooting your guns fast is all there is to doublegunning, then yes, i understand why you'd think it's easy. But it's not. Shooting fast can be learned by anyone in 5 minutes, and with about 50 hours of practice, it's intuitive in 90% of situations. Quickswitching and the movement and spacing options is what makes the difference between a good doublegunner and a great one. And it takes hundreds if not thousands of hours to master movement, spacing, and aim. A lot of movement is sadly lost without quickswitching, as you aren't able to sprint in between shots without it.

@lordsaladgod6857 more than one, and free cheats to bypass it as well. But that's not the point. Although i wouldn't mind them keeping it the way it is now. The new quickswitch methods are a bit slower, meaning it is nerfed, but also a bit more difficult. Also you could bucket quickswitch when needing to bucket your boat, step quick switching to bait shots, etc. It kinda adds more depth which is actually pretty sick.
