Hope some of the Valk boys can make it in the last 2 teams. After a harsh S9, hoping a roster with some veterans can maybe help refine some of the newer talents on the scene. Especially Kyrmi, scrapping with scarabs at the bottom all S9 he was always passionate about the few wins they got throughout the year. Definitely a breath of fresh air despite a rough debut in the pro league

I think the Ravens interest me the most. There is a lot going on in year 10, but definitely excited to see so many shakeups from last year in team compositions!

I think this will be the season that shows what pegon is truly capable of becoming. His new team is good but doesn't necessarily have the potential carry role in every role like he did with dragons

I want to see Hurriwind succeed. He has wanted to win for so long and has put the work in time after time just to not make it. Whether its teammates, role, or the other team just being better. I'd love to see him get success as a player. Likewise, Awesomejake408 could have a resurgence this year. I feel like he started going downhill after the Osiris support that didn't hit; however, I feel like he stopped playing what he wanted or thought was good to play what the team thought was good. Which isn't bad, but if a player is feeling a pick sometimes it's better than the best pick on paper. Maybe I'm wrong and this is all speculation either way but I hope he does well and feels good playing. This is a spicy year and I'm excited for all the teams (even if I'm tired of Aror and Paul on the same team...)

I am hyped for dragons. I was an oni fan, especially for nika, and just 2 days ago i was hoping vote dardez and nika would be togheter while changing jungle and support. Not that i didnt like neil or qvo, but them 5 wasnt working and i wanted a new take... and thats exactly what we got. They may not be the best, but the tought of your favourite players alongside 2 other great players you also liked is so great. Hope they get at least in a consistent 3 top place with atlantis and kings on the top 2

The Oni Warriors roster is literally who I remember Incon seeing constantly in his ranked lobbies a few years ago when I was still able to catch his streams LOL.

As someone who's been a fan of the warriors core for years I'm rooting for the dragons now that they're there. I'm apprehensive but I watched pbms qna stream after rosters where announced and it gave me a lot of confidence because Pbm really struck me that he just understands how teams need to work, and what he thinks him and las can do to facilitate the core.

Levi's will almost certainly have some growing pains but just wanna point out that yes, sheento loves to have farm funnelled his way and so does adapting but the new map has a TON of camps for them both which I think could really help with that issue. Sheento also does remind me a fair bit of Yammyn in his heyday, the super-consistent mid who's just gonna chunk the entire enemy team and allow his jungler to clean up the fight. Agree with your point that once this team gets revved up they could be reminiscent of NRG in terms of playstyle and in terms of dominance

Team I'm most excited for? Styx Ferrymen. :D Was an easy choice for me, been supporting the Titans for 2 years now, and this branding is hilarious, I'm 90% certain they went with it just so they could use the dumb "man rowing boat" emoji they've been spamming on Twitter and use the "Row it down" line which in fairness is pretty clean. I was surprised to see Cyclonespin back too, the only theory I have to explain it is that SoT and/or Layers had issues with Cyclone or vice-versa that couldn't be resolved and it was a choice between losing a jungle and solo or an adc. Whatever the reason, excited to see him back for sure. I was a Cyno doubter before worlds, he baited me with the Chaac but he convinced me and Baskin looked clean at worlds too and has a more consistent quality too him rather than the explosive SoT which was devastating when fired correctly but sometimes blew up on the wrong side of the map. Oh, in the same tweet that Vaporish Coast made about not getting in, in the replies, he tweeted that he is coming in to play-ins so the dream isn't dead.

You are correct. Aror just got interviewed by Hayzer and that was the exact situation. Aror never had issues with Cyclone and values him over Stu for his lategame shotcalling. Cyclone was only kicked because replacing 2 positions is harder than 1 as you said

@@misterqqqface Yeah I just watched that interview myself, sucks that it came to that especially when Layers up and got himself suspended anyway. Makes me wonder what would have happened if they had just gotten Cyno earlier when they threatened that and let SoT leave and poached Aqua or something. Hard to say because SoT is such a beast and did great at worlds for them but the value Cyclone brings is a lot.

Still gonna be supporting my boy Twig, but the new Jade Dragons roster is the one that's getting me wet. The Vote/Dardez/Nika core is such a joy and PBM shotcalling will hopefully give them the direction they lacked as the Oni Homies.

Firstly, bummer for Stu not having a team atm, think he really played well this season. So pumped for Adapting! Man this is a really awesome lineup of teams so far, props to all the new teams trying things out. Agree with you that the old Titans mash up is kinda sus. Really excited to see how these games shake out. I was never a fan of that dragons team and I really expected that trio to keep a hold of Pegon for longer than a year, I'm glad for smite actually that PBM Pcat and FO split up. Think it wasn't working and their carousel of swapping players in and out around themselves every year didn't seem healthy for overall roster growth. Really glad to see a lot of change ups this season. Should make for some really entertaining games. Thanks for the video

I think that the Bolts consistently get underrated by everyone. Both season 8 and 9 they were consistently top 2-3 in basically every phase besides like phase 3 of this year and still had a really good worlds performance. In season 8 there was a period of time where Ven was either the best or second best mid in the league so saying he started season 7 well and was “eh” basically ever since is such utter shite lmao. Barra said it on backliners too, I’m not sure why people get amnesia when it comes to them

Go watch the aror / hayzer video they recently did, he talks about it in some detail there - basically layers and solo wanted him out, and aror didn't want to lose 2 roles just before worlds. Hence cyclone being kicked, then coming back when those two were gone

Honestly this may be a hot take but I think it's criminal that Hurriwind ended up on a day 1 team this year. I think that guy is bad honestly. His eUnited roster was one of the bottom 2 teams that year, dragons were not better off with him and the scarabs didn't see success with him. At SWC I saw him miss way too many abilities. I think he is the reason people call it a friendship league.
