I got emotional hearing her speak. People need to take a step back; it’s never that serious. Competing to see who can make the most noise is exhausting. Those accusing her of playing the victim are just pitiful-it’s shameful. I applaud her for speaking out, and I hope she never stays silent. No athlete or public figure should ever face this kind of backlash. We need to learn to be kind and respectful with our opinions.
