SEASON 12 SALMON FISHING on the ST LEWIS RIVER Part 1

Undoubtedly one of the best rivers in Labrador to fish for an Atlantic salmon! Dwight and his nephew Joe MacKinnon travelled there as guests of Atlantic Rivers Outfitting Company for some awesome fishing!

So the river is fairly populated but the fish are small.Oh well small fish are fun too on light tackle.

@Salmon_fisherman_ 98 I live in Norway sir and trust me when i say if you come to many of the rivers here with a 6/7 weight the first half of the season you wont even have time to shout to your buddies befeore your reel is empty and you look like a fool. WE use 14-15 feet rods class 10-11 or 12 and still get our asses handed to us on a reg basis. The rivers here hold atlantic salmon well over 50lb and dont even bother telling me you can come here and land them on a 6/7 weight, not gonna happen, At ALL....

Not surprised the show was cancelled. Too many unattainable locations for blue collar outdoor enthusiasts. The show was entertaining when the "average joe" could relate. You should have passed the torch on years ago to someone else.

Your free to fish any river in nl and lab. Nobody owns the rivers. You just have to get there
