Ever since Akalis rework she has been a mega problem balancing wise and everything. Champion has to much mobility and if your half hp you can't run or flash away from her. She guns you down. He r2 is mega powerful

Otp katarina emerald diamond elo here. Stormsurge is an early game item for snowballing so you buy it when you have a lane kill or you got an early double kill from bot. But the game I played at this patch I found a better option for snowballing. Shadowflame to lich bane to rabadons and you literally pentakill with just r. My opinion and waiting my brother kata otps to discuss down here.
