I was reading about a long interview given to the producer, director, and iirc the head writer for arcane, and they were saying that it was always supposed to be a 2 season show, based on their story and the budget approved. The second season did not portray that in the slightest. It had many more seasons squashed into one

Arcane needed 3 seasons to get to this ending. The pace speed up way to quickly trying to hit plot points to wrap it up. Still good but they need to commit to longer projects if they want these heavy stories to land well.

These shows will run for 9 seasons stuffed with filler because they're just vehicles for better written and developed Manga thst basically prints money (when it's not literally printing a tie in game or toy line). It's convinced audiences that stories need time for things that just don't. Where Season 2 condensed its timeline was through montage and one single time skip. Point at one montage that would have taught us more about the world or was worth more than the four minutes it was allotted. There isn't one. This is a criticism I see a lot and my point is kind of simple: how do you tell this story without this pace? Did we want 2 episode 7s? Two episode 4s? Did we want a whole episode of Mel's experience in Ep 4? Whst would that have given us? Did we just want every episode to be 10minutes longer? The criticism basically amounts to "I wanted more," which is wildly high praise. About the only Storyline I can see an argument for slowing down is Viktors, but to do that you have to tell a fundamentally different story about Viktor, and I guess that's just artistic difference. The second one I can accept a little more readily is "too many music video montages," and honestly, definitely felt that in Episodes 1-3, but mostly because they all happened in the exact same beat in the show, in the first act of each episode. By episode 4 and onward, didn't bother me. Certainly episode 6 onward, the show is basically perfect, and the major difference is that there's only one "music video" that happens at Ep start in Eps 6-9; most have "music video moments, but they hit later or are split, intelligently, into two parts. P.S. Arcane is a non diegetic musical, change my mind.

Riot adding in more things for the average player to NOT learn and pay attention to. Kids barely look at map or ping wards, shoot they even made dragons tougher and herald and people still can't comprehend that. I love the new stuff being added, I just don't think the average player will catch on and it makes the matches more frustrating for others.

gotta love the noxus season, never liked playing slow and scaling (farming) to late game because s14 most games end before anyone can scale anyway , now its all about the early game kills baby

Is this like. a separate game mode? or is this in solo queue ranked? I just played my first game in 10 years yesterday lol. The last new maps i remember were aram and _dominion._ This doesnt look like a new map (aka game mode) though it just looks like a game update (if i compare it to a lot of the SR changes over the years)

so sounds like this is the official game mode. tbh im a bit disappointed or maybe its better to say im worried. i started playing again bc the game seemed to be better than ever for the first time in a literal decade. and then right as i think that, theyre very fundamentally changing the game. hopefully it makes the good things about the state of the game last cpl years even better 🤞

I think it looks really cool and im super stoked for it. It is a bit sad that its going to be so short lived though because unless youre someone who has a crazy ampunt of time to dedicate to league its gonna put you at a massive disadvantage when playing. The casual league player will be crippled by the changes. I only get in a couple games a week normally which qill make it really hard to learn a new season before it chabges again and playing into people qho play every day will be way harder than previously

@@angellopez5315 well that hasn't been the case for the last 4 years I've been playing the game... sure they make small changes in patches but complete upheaval of many game fundamentals every 3-4 months is a massive change. don't know why you're acting as if this has always been the case and that I shouldn't play league if I cant dedicate hours and hours a week to it? seems like A just an incorrect statement and B weirdly unhelpful comment? if I enjoy league and have been playing it for a while then I'm evidently not playing the wrong game :P in the video he literally asked what people thought. so I put my input out there. i dont recall anyone asking for random strangers to respond saying "sounds like a you problem" XD get a life bro or get creative with your responses.

i think the deep ward rune shouldn't count the river itself as valid for a deep ward imo. sure, it's a scary place for the squishy support but that shit ain't enemy jungle, that's neutral

I'd rather have a support that has 100 vision score over 50. Stat definitely doesn't mean nothing, directly related to how much info you've received at any point in the game

It's not a great indicator of vision quality, just an indicator that you're placing words at all. As a coach I just hear way too many supports brag about having high vision score and then I check their replays and they're just warding side-lane bushes for literally no reason. But yes.

That's cool yeah, but really, having played different mobas, you can't call that a new map it's the same map, with new textures New objectives are neat, but they don't impact the map nearly enough to call that a new map imo
