Honestly I dont get the appeal of Potemkin. Sure some matches go like this but most of the time its an encouragement for the opponent to not approach you... Idk, doesnt sound fun

As a pot main, getting close to the opponent is the game plan. But due to slow base movement and slow moves with lots of endlag you tend to be in the corner blocking 80% of the time. It's only the 20% that you can actually fight back

The appeal for me as a Pot main is that those time the match goes like this is so gratifying that it makes slowly trying to break through their defenses to get to this worth it. Also funny glue man, big damage grab. Also for me at least, Pot mirrors are the best mirror matches in Strive

For me I like his unique options and approach to closing the gap. He can have some really wacky moments. Even though some wins feel cheap cause buster and stuff, I still had to earn it to a degree since I remember most matches I’m suffering due to less than stellar defense when the opponent exploits pots flaws. For a grappler he has some very interesting movement.

When Jesus was being crucified he did not use Roman cancel, likely because u doesn't have it. That reduces his defensive capabilities vs pot, so I'd say no he won't survive the gorilla glue grab 😢
