Welcome back to The Cut Line. The Drew's take on the Lake Murray in South Carolina in this episode, the infamous lake that hasn't been visited by BASS since 2011. The lake offers a large variety of habitats and ways to catch them. Water temps were high 60's to low 70's throughout the week which provided perfect conditions for spawning bass. A shad spawn was also a huge player for a lot of the anglers in the mornings bringing even more large fish to the bank. We had an absolute blast looking at them all week and catching GIANT bags. We came out with a win and another top 10 to top that off! Tune in to see how it all goes down.

You can tell both Cook and Benton are humble, regular guys, which is part of why I love watching The Cut Line. The day 4 footage of Benton here is absolutely amazing. My wife and I (she doesn't even fish or usually watch fishing with me) were watching the day 4 footage and we both were on the edge of our seat, cheering for Benton like this tournament was happening right in front of us. Benton getting choked up at 1:28:10 and 1:33:55 had us both choked up! His walk-up song says it all: a cant-quit heart and a whole lot of never back down. So cool seeing both Cook and Benton hammer those big ones I can't wait to watch TCL this upcoming year, best fishing channel on YT, bar none. Editor and video guy needs a raise if he didn't get one after 2023, no doubt!
