The flightstones you already have get reset on the Season 4 release, so if you have some to spend, do it before the season starts! Also, something I forgot to mention in the video, EVERYONE will get a +2 key for mythic plus, regardless of how high their cleared key was the week before, so don't go out of your way getting a high key, cause everyone starts at +2! ** Crest gains cap 120 per type per reset, growing each reset, so 8 upgrades per type per week, increasing every week.

@@OnlyGhostType You can use them to buy BOA renown insignias with DF factions if you still need them, from Chelnen in the Sapphire Enclave area in Valdrakken. The Insignias cost 150 FS and give 50 rep. You can also keep these in your bags until the Darkmoon Faire comes along and use them then with the 10% rep buff!

@@Bobsob depends per person. Some players only do low content or open world. If you are a hc/Mythic raider, you gear from higher content directly and probably already know part of this information

Luckily, it seems that the very first week of Season 4 will have the Timewalking event, which will be great for getting some preliminary gear if you have a fresh 70 (due to the fact that item level will be scaled down). And even if you're already geared from Season 3, the event will likely reward one piece of Champion-level gear, which should be an upgrade for nearly everyone!

Just an FYI they updated the Awakened schedule a few days ago the single raids are only awakened for 1 week, and week 4+ all raids are awakened

Hey! I haven't made a video about that unfortunately, but as a general rule, based on previous patches, the most rewarding quests for gear will be the weekly quests we pick up from the valdrakken fountain, like the 5x tw quests, the 4x mything dungeon quest and so on. There may be others, and I guess we will find out more once the servers go live with the new season. I will try to keep this guide updated in the pinned comment when I know more!

The gear ilvl varies depending on the type of awakened content...open world, cache rewards,normal/hc dungeons, m+, lfr, mythic raid, etc

You should do whatever works for you best! I would personally not recommend +6 unless you want to farm the easiest Aspect crests. Otherwise, I would go for +7 for the Hero drops from the dungeon, and if 7 is too high, I'd choose the +4 as the highest as it doesn't have the second affix and the gear is upgradable to 515 as well. Personally, I will fill my vault with +8s in order to get my full vault reward next week, and they also have the best upgradable gear. Double dip!

@@plummet3860 Actually, the M+ difficulty and affixes have changed for season 4, and now the dungeons gain affixes at level 2, 5 and 10. You do not get an improved Ilvl in PVP by upgrading the PVP gear, it only gives you advantage in PVE. So you're wrong on that point.

Maybe I expressed myself wrong, I meant that the gear is upgradable, but it counts as higher ilvl in pvp already, you can even see that in the tooltip ^^

I did forget to mention it, however, as far as I know, the gear drops from TW have not been announced to change to a higher item level, but it is another good way to gear for a fresh character indeed!

Fast? You are required to do 3 world events that may occur at the same time...and may get repeat gear. If you play 4 or 5 toons and have 1-+ armor slots, how is this remotely fast? And then, how many flightstones??? 4000? yeah fast is not the word id use

If you mean for the weekly spark, you can just opt for the pvp option, which requires an 1500 honor in epic battlegrounds, and you have a whole week to complete either of the quests. None of the content is mandatory, except for 1 awakened raid boss a week in any difficulty if you want the bullions. It's possible the spark may drop from other content as well in the future, but we don't have this information yet, so we'll know more when the patch goes live. 😉

@@SunshadeWoW respectfully. It should have been considered for the "open world" players. There is a pvp, Raid/M+ and World. To gear 3+ World toons is a task requiring far too much time imo. I just hope the pre patch event at least offers easier alternatives for alts.

For players who just do open world content it does take longer indeed if they choose the weekly quest, but on the flipside, for a m+ player or a raider it would take the same amount of time to spam raids or keys, maybe even longer if they gear there instead perhaps. I play all pve environments, so I do have a bit of trouble picturing what it would be like to not do dungeons at all, or very little, so I'm sorry I can't really help with some better suggestions here 😞
