Worth noting when Don branches out onto other food sources. Berries carry you to Feudal but the sheep start running out right about when Castle timing hits.

Note: if you ate a Tower of Victory enjoyer then you can do this exact buildorder but with a second mosque. With two vills on gold you will have 3 scholars when you finish sanctity to send one to each sacred site. Or you can build the landmark with only food vills, let the 3 on Gold gather another 130 for one additional scholar and then pull them to wood.

You don’t need a second mosque, that costs a lot of wood early on. I like to just train a second scholar with 130 gold, then pull them onto wood. The second scholar will be trained by the time you age up.

@@JhAsh08 that was the more meta approach I was describing in the second paragraph. But it is technically also viable (especially in lower leagues) to just do the same villager split as with the dome of faith build and invest 100 wood into a second mosque. It is a bit easier if you are new to the civ and you have the abillity to capture all 3 sacred sites at the same time if your opponent is passive.

God the elo match making system annoys me. Occasionally I try to pick up a new civ. I even have an account that I don't care about my ranking. Im currently silver rank, but the matchmaking elo still puts me against plat. I have lost 6 games in a row trying to learn Delhi. Please... just let me play against a fair and even match

its not too bad in single player but its a complete trainwreck in 2v2+ it'll be 2 golds 2 plats, and it'll pair the golds and pair the plats instead of splitting them. it'll put gold 3 diamond 1 vs silver 3 gold1 all day. even had a conq and bronze in the same game, of course on different teams.

@@terence7009 garbage mmr. online matchmaking has always just sucked in video games. i get ticked. im sloppy in ranked cause i dont play like i use to in year 1, and i go into ranked boom plat 2 vs unranked lol ok. i beat him! but still.............

You haven't really talked about how to win though. You say the win goal is sacred victory but what's the best way to do that. Sacred victory is the hardest victory in my opinion. You need to defend your base + 3 sacred sites. If you spread out your army between those 4 points there is no way you could hold out until sacred victory. Sorry if it's a stupid question, I have only been playing this game for a month

I always used house of wisdom whenever I played Delhi before, it's some great upgrades, but I recently realized that Compound of the Defender is probably the way to go if you want to win through a sacred

Don should have chopped twice bcz stragglers are a bit far from Tc. Got too much waking time early on.

@@Lezeik1 yea but overall he had to go all the way to his forest to get enough for lumber camp. Also if you're spreading them on different stragglers it's harder to keep track of than if you just chop twice.
