So you wanted him to clear 3 board slots by removing Divine Shielded Dragons to add murkeye and the 2 battlecry minions? And for that he got +8/+8 to all even minions and +2/+2 to all Dragons (which by this point would have been reduced to 3 Dragons). That doesn't sound like a good plan at all, better to cycle them and focus on getting Divine Shielded Dragons up with a Brann...

@@Kholdaimon with the Kally and hunter it would have been more procks and he could have always picked up a drakk after for even more generation, but I can see the argument against it, was a higher risk/higher reward play.

I think theres a good end of turn comp where you trigger the roar giving battlecry with murkeye and the trigger end of turn battlecry a bunch of times that goes crazy

0:20 Does the "0" on the first Reroll mean it doesn't cost a token? Is one reroll free per game? Or is that a special feature (part of the pass+?)

Personally I like a more vanilla battlegrounds. The game is better when all players have the exact same access to things. The closer to chess you can make it, where both sides start exactly the same, the better it feels to win and lose. I really think they should just have a game mode that takes away heros or makes everyone pick from the exact same pool, just to see what the community thinks.

Nope. The game is literally slots, it's much more interesting when there's more stuff happening. Except for anomalies, most of those were just bad.

I think hero powers, quests, trinkets, or even anomalies add extra layers of strategy to the game. Gives you options and possibility for creativity. Whereas vanilla can feel like "he hit the right minions and I didn't, so I lose"

i personally would not have cut nadina but poet because every minion already had DS so no point in keeping him

Nadina can re trigger divine shield on 3 dragons after they have already lost it if you just play her 3rd or so

@@Andi.E oh yes I had read your comment wrong. I mean, I guess he kept the poet for the stats that it already had (and the fact it is a permanent divine shield dragon, which he can't get anymore if he sells the poet).

I’ve been out of battlegrounds for around 6 to 8 months in order to focus on Marvel Snap. I used to be a hardcore with over 1.500 hours on the mode. For obvious reasons, I’m currently looking to come back. Is it still good? Is it worth it to come back right now? Has powercreep maybe ruined it or something? I kinda want a general overview of the state of battlegrounds at the moment.

There's definitely been some power creep but I wouldn't say it's ruined the game or anything, I still have a ton of fun playing and I'm very excited about the new season

Next patch (tomorrow?) will be chill to ease you back into it because it will have no new mechanics. I think it's still a pretty fun game even if there's powercreep
