Sadly I was there to see the meltdown in person. Devastating way to end the season but still huge trust in Harbaugh. Thanks for all your great content this year gentlemen. Bolt up.

Sorry you had to experience that live, Isaac. Always awesome to attend a big sporting event though. Just unlucky that the team played that way. Thanks for watching and we’ll keep doing our best to put out content our listeners enjoy 👌🏻

At the end of the day, Chargers are on an upward trajectory and its clear Harbaugh is having an impact. Next year will surely be better

Good perspective, Darryl. Exceeded regular season expectations this year. Next step is exceeding playoff expectations. In Jim we trust

Good morning my brothers. I am so excited to watch the show. I know it was a heartbreaker. I know it was a tough loss but remember what I said 2026 San Francisco the Los Angeles Chargers will win the Lombardi trophy I promise watch what’s gonna happen this off-season let’s go boys.

Chargers hit their ceiling and hit it hard. Good. You don't win championships by making do. You make changes. He changes that need to be made are clear. I'm not as high on Joe Hortiz as many are, but this is the draft where he can really show off his chops. Good season. Cheers the next one is better. Thank you TDU

Thank you, Eddie! Strong, clear, words from you. Well said. Let’s see those changes get made and reload for 2025

Pressure on the QB was caused by the inability of the WRs to get open against press man coverage. The result would have been different if Keenan Allen were in the game. Look at what happened when Chargers played Vikings last year -- the counter to extreme pressure is quick passing. Roman is not good at quick passing game.

Very true. Marcus Brady and Trestman were supposed to help with the passing game. The results in that area so far have been underwhelming. Must improve or it will become a fatal flaw

If there’s one advantage of having been a lifelong Chargers fan it’s that i can put this shit in perspective, be a little philosophical about it all. Look, i was around for Ryan Leaf, which was a time of huge expectations that turned into a hellscape of hopelessness for years. Just no way out of that situation. At least now, in our current bummer, we took our medicine first and the future is full of hope. Plus it looks like we’ll get to run it back with Minter. In the meantime we can laugh at the Raiders firing Telesco after one season 😂😂😂 …and he actually did a pretty decent job in the 2024 draft tbh.

High draft picks doesn't mean they were good draft picks.

Don’t we know all about that!

Greg Roman doesn’t have much to work with in terms of talent, but looking at Lamar’s stats when Roman was in Baltimore worries me. Also we aren’t going to find a better QB than Herbert, whatever his flaws. He shouldn’t be above criticism and doubt anymore but trade talks are insane.
@ThunderDownUnderPodcast27 минут бұрын
Oh I think we’re all a bit worried, Adam 😬 We can hope for different results but hope is not a plan. We need Harbaugh and Hortiz to formulate a plan to make this Offense less predictable and it starts now. The Herbert trade talk is out there, believe it or not. We do not approve!

Great show!! Yes, the offensive coaching staff, offensive players (NOT 15), and head coach had a sub par game. To the point. G-row has got to go. He didn't have a lot to work with. But Minter didn't really have a lot to work with and he got the job done. If Harbaugh dies on his staff, Roman is fucking cancer. He done not adjust. The entire year maybe a couple times, thats it. Nobody wants to see Justin Herbert Learn a new offense and that is where everything gets messy. No body likes my ideas so I won't put them out there. But another year with his guys?? Maybe it will work 😮maybe it won't. I don't see Harbaugh cutting ties eather. Over hall the interior O-line and get some reciever help for 15. He is going to be tested next year, a lot by his peers and by the league. I would love to see a Drake London type drafted and maybe a TE as well. Maybe a Bengals reciever in free agency. We will see. I dont think it is nearly as bad as in Jacksonville. I have faith in Justin Herbert.

Thanks for the comment, Alan! If the only thing going for Greg Roman is continuity for Herbert and the likelihood that other teams won’t poach him away, then those wouldn’t be good reasons to keep him. The great hope is that he manages to build a run game like he did in Baltimore and SF to get our team deeper in the playoffs, and then hopefully Herbert can do the rest. But he needs better answers in the passing game than the ones he came up with on Saturday, or he’ll be holding the future of this team hostage. Doubtful that Harbaugh is considering replacing him so I guess we all have to cross our fingers and hope the results look better with different players next season.

Cheers mates. Bad luck to your mob too. Neither of our teams could keep up Offensively with the other playoff calibre teams. Let’s hope KC joins us on the sidelines soon! Somehow I doubt it 😅
