this has all the makings of a brilliantly epic season. Morgana and the villains are creepier, our heroes are awesomer, the Round Table and the knights appear again EEP! Mordred returns, Gwens Queen... Gosh I love Merlin. SO MUCH

Over a month since merlin ended here in the UK and still cannot resist looking back at all the trailers- so epic. Dear Producers Please please please bring it back - somehow- because it's pretty much the only show I bother to turn the tv on for- and it's going to break the hearts of the entire fan kingdom- not just mine. It's the most epic show and admittingly, it will have to end sometime, but it's too soon right now. Merlinnsimsgirl.

This is so bittersweet. I can't wait to see Season 5 start, but at the end of Ep 13, it will be over and done for good. It's just not fair. I just pray for the writers/directors to make a Season 6. This will be the start of 5 years of not missing a single show and the thought of not seeing a 6th year of Merlin is heartbreaking to think about.

I've always seen her as the tragic and true hero of the story. She's so tormented and vilified but everything she does comes essentially from her strong sense of justice and (a now skewed) morality. She's a wonderful character. I often see Merlin as the 'villain' because he's the one that sent Morgana over the edge by poisoning her. She's only ever tried to do what was right and, come on, getting rid of Uther in order to prevent the murder of thousands was hardly a bad thing to do.
