I just added Serpentine Aspect to my 2H staff and I can still only summon max 3 Hydras. The new base is 2 Hydras and the aspect brings it to 3.

When he skipped to ice blades I was lost I’m trying to follow along as I level and what am I supposed to swap in ice blades at level 25? I’m so confused I didn’t need another cool down. There isn’t even space for it please help me.

Hey Nick, been blasting with this build, love it! Currently 73, and looking to transition into the WT4 version of this build. How does crit work on Fire DOTs int D4? I am used to PoE, where crit does nothing for DOTs. Also, which is better, Crit Damage or DoT Damage mods? I have DoT damage on my gloves, should I switch it to Crit Damage?

Crit doesn't do anything for dots but crit damage scales the burning instinct paragon node.

Did you see that fractured winter glass was "nerfed" though? FO will still be strong I am sure but not as crazy, and you will need much better gear.

Everytime i see 2h staff i wanna insult diablo 4 devs they are disgrace to game design. "Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies" implicit on a staff is literally bullshit idea because there is no alternative to it. At least with one handed weapon you have options but there is only one type of 2h staff and that have damage to cc.

Thanks for the guide. I've been having a lot of fun and success with this build but I have one question. Does using serpentine on the weapon still make sense? It only gives one Hydra and the hydra duration increases by 50% when you have the aspect maxed out. That seems like a total waste of the 2 hand stat bonus since I'm casting a new hydra every few seconds anyway. I swapped the edgemaster and serpentine gear slots for the big damage boost vs hydra duration. I'll have to see if I notice any difference when I get back to playing.

Frozen really needs the unique amulet for it to really be effective so i’m probably gonna transfer to blizzard after firewall until I get the gear I need for the frozen orb build.

Certain thing are 1 color and they don't change the other color is the one that changes depending on what u put it on. I'm not certain if that 1 increases.
