I'm definitely hitting a new stride based on your teachings. Instead of copying and pasting, I'm using what I can learn with. Went 4 out of 5 positives sets tonight using Poliwrath/Lickitung/Froslass which on paper, we all know Poli and Lick have been going strong but Froslass isn't on most teams, most favoring Dewgong in the matches I saw. But with the current meta of dragons and Grass holes featuring among many sets, I just like Froslass, ever since Platinum, and clearly it works for me because I know what its supposed to be doing instead of just copying and to hope for the best.

I have been running a similar team except with mandibuzz. I feel like rockslide is the better move than thunderbolt at least for my team because of the frequency of dragons and charjabug. Everyone assumes thunderbolt which allows for some nasty baits. But your elo is way higher than mine so I am probably wrong haha.

Wow, you'd be surprised (or maybe not) how well this team works in the lower-ELO range as well. I tried it for a set and although some battles were tight, I managed to sweep and go 5-0. Nice team, Dan!

Hi Dan! I really liked your content, especially the layout of your video. It is very clean and pleasant. The only item I not find was the best IV for each of the Pokémon. However, I don't know if including this information would make the video interface very polluted. Congratulations on your work!

GBL has just been crazy, I've had to change my team arround so much, because I find a lot of diferent temas that just corebreak what I tried, your videos help a lot looking into matches without having to invest on teams and get disapointed.

15:02 IMO it should be consistently: you come in, you can throw your fast move, and your opponent can throw a charge move right away before the fast move registers. If the charge move takes you out, the fast move won't hit. But if not, it will hit after the charge moves. I think you should definetly be rewarded for having a move ready. But throwing two in a row without a chance to do anything is just crazy. I mean, 50% of the time it works like that anyways. Idk how they didn't fix that inconsistency until now SOOO many years into GBL...

Yeah, what happened is definitely a bug due to the charged move being thrown before the game recognizes a fast move is thrown, so it counts as Dan not tapping at all. I too see it happen more than it should (never) 😒 Niantic will give a green raid pass if it happens to you and you report it through the in-app help.

Just caught a rank 1 Eevee the other day, looking forward to trying out Umbreon in OGL. Don't have a DD and not holding my breath for it to come back to raids any time soon, but I was thinking of using a similar team with Azu in place of DD

Nice battles and good team idea! I will try this whith either umbreon or mandibuzz. Could also be good with guzzlord. But you get walled by azumarill with the standard guzzlord moveset. And my great league guzzlord is garbage😅

Do you run an attack weighted Gligar to pick up certain matches or was that simply the best available?

I run a 10/15/15 shadow gligar. And i always win cmp tie. So that can definitely be nice
