Why do you hold arcane flame? Base dmg is ~800 and only 30 mana. Seems like it could replace one of your early Arcane Missles and you could get it off twice in each boss fight (sometimes thrice). Nice part is it ticks for 20 seconds, each tick dealing Spellfire (arcane/fire) so healing anyone with temporal beacon. Just curious cuz i'm trying to optimize my rotation.

Arcane Blast x 3 + Living flame 30 + 60 + 90 + 30 = only 210 mana 800 * 1.45 (Arcane Blast x 3) = 1160 dmg... or 1280 with AB x 4

@cbg4567 no you're absolutely right I was just not optimizing my rotation there. I honestly forget about it outside of PvP way too much, I need to make sure to keep it up. I usually do 2 x AB into Missles to optimize my mana, I actually hadn't even thought of using living flame to wipe the debuff. Thanks for the tips and I think 3x is better as well. Seems like your rotation would be much more optimum.

@@BlinkurzMakse sense. They also just nerfed Living Flames so the damage isn't affected by Arcane Blast.

So while you should still use Living Flame more than you did, you can just weave it in as it comes off cooldown. And ABx3 into AM for the big damage

@cbg4567 yeah I'm sure some changes like that will continue to be made. Spellfire was an odd choice of spell type but very beneficial for many reasons.

What talent is this? how can you do big damage like that?

I do 16/0/0 talents for raiding. The damage you are seeing is Arcane Blast which is a rune that you can get in Season of Discovery. It pairs very well with Living Flame which is also a rune. The heals come from Regeneration which is my final rune choice.

your hunter friend should put his pet on the boss, it would help the dps a lot

I think he just had it off for the Baron fight because it bugs out.
