Seasonal Saturdays - Ornament Money Holder

I had a lot of fun making these for my kids this year. I changed up a few things, like I used a CB swirls embossing folder to emboss the ornament and the dots CB folder to emboss the ornament toppper. I also used cardstock for the base and added my designer paper on top, that way I could tuck the ribbon under the DP. It worked really slick. The tricky part was punching the half circle at the top and get it to match with the cardstock. Great tutorial for a great project! Thank you!

I love this. I needed to make a quick money holder for my Mom today and this was quick, easy, elegant, and PERFECT!!! I made four from one 12 x 12 sheet of DSP. TFS.

The size of the circle is 3" and the scalloped circle is 3-3/8"...hope that helps!

I made this after a few tries bit was so disappointed that after all that work, the picket could not properly hold 1 bill..the pocket area was too narrow and little in length as well.
