Meeting these guys, you'd almost think this trilogy was why they called the band Mae. And not because it 'just fit as a concept'. I don't think people really appreciated what they had, but those last 18 months were magical. Truly something they had to become, and not something they were just going to be. 'Most days, I wake and pray for an open road to me and myself. But I still have days, I pray for snow so I can follow you everywhere else.'

I remember playing this on a road trip with my daughter to the Big Bend in West Texas. It is perfect. My daughter had taken awesome photos of MAE in concert. Such beautiful music.

I think I remember Jacob Marshall, Mae's drummer and the writer/performer of this song, once tweeting that this section (8:51 - 9:59) of the song was played during his wedding when his wife walked down the aisle. Such a beautiful song and I'd imagine it would work so well in that context. I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the joint.
