This video captures snippets of a full day of gardening on the homestead, beginning with prepping bean seeds for planting. In the greenhouse, I experimented with vertical growing by setting up tomato cages for the squash, a space-saving technique I'm excited about. I also took care of the potted greenhouse tomato plants, setting them up with twine for support. Outside, I moved pepper plants to ensure uniform sunlight and planted a variety of cherry tomatoes and tomatillos in compost-enriched containers, adding a touch of organic fertilizer for a healthy start. The day ended with a peaceful stroll through the apiary, watching the bees orient themselves-a crucial process for young bees learning their surroundings.
