I love how you "create" your builds. I watch a lot of long-form content, and often watch in 1.75 to 2x speed, so it's nice to know that others do so, too. But your videos normally don't get played faster than 1.25. This was a fun concept! I've been downloading, whenever possible, just the residential instead of the rental versions of a lot because it's easier to see if it's placed right before carving out the rental spaces. I appreciate the options whenever possible.

Creative! When my friends and I were in high school, one of my best friends bedroom was actually supposed to be the house's dining room. Her family didn't have the funds for a house with bedrooms for each child, so my friend, being the youngest, got the dining room. Thankfully for her, it had pocket doors which gave her her privacy. It was actually a really nice space and was conveniently close to the kitchen for late-night snacking.

Im pretty sure the save corruption due to rental lots only happens if you use the cheat code to increase the amount of rental lots allowed on a lot so you should be good with this lot being a rental lot as it’s under the 6 unit limit . I have no idea why ea even let that cheat be in the game if it could cause that issue and even if they didn’t know idk why they don’t just remove it until they can fix it or something.

Lol my house growing up also had two living rooms. We called them the "big living room" and the "little living room." The little living room was filled with my mom's collection of Hopi Native American decor and then there was a tv for all of our Wii stuff. Perfect room to jam out on Rock Band or be personally victimized by Wii Fit 😂.

The speed I watch videos at depends on how the speaker speaks. You speak fast enough for me, so I watch you at normal speed. I have to watch crafting videos for my work sometimes, and KZbin crafters tend to speak somewhat slowly to go through their process, so I usually speed those up at least to 1.25x, sometimes to 1.5x. Some things I have to watch at regular speed because unless it's a podcast, I tend to focus on what I'm watching. Something like a speed build (which I watch quite a bit) or stop motion is already sped up, so if I speed it up anymore, it makes my head hurt so that has to stay at regular speed. I love this build. I loved what I saw during a couple of the streams. The winter one is probably my favorite to look at because I love winter, and it gives me cozy winter cabin vibes. It's not my personal style, but I just really love it. It's quite charming. I think the one I'd be most happy to live in is the summer one. Just the color combo you chose is something I enjoy having around me. I love the cooler colors, so the white-blue combo makes my brain happy. I also really love the color variation in the bedrooms.

29:15 I start out videos in normal speed, but speed them up more and more if i find myself getting distracted from them. I watched the majority of this video in 1.25x speed. Amazing building, it makes me want to load up my game and build something! 😊

I love to watch you CREATE and see your overall thought process when it comes to design. I would totally agree with you in the sense that I have to watch any video, regardless of what it is, on at least 1.5x speed. I definitely think it partially has to do with my ADHD because I've been told I also talk really fast which is a noticeable symptom of my ADHD.

Create!! :D also I have some little headcannons for those who live in each house. The spring house has a single parent with a business career and likes crafting and a tween who wants to be an artist cuz their parent is super good at crafts. The summer house is the family who owns the house block (and they're all merfolk!! :D). The grandparent moved in after the other passed on. The teen is a part time gardener for the spring house and the tween is besties with the spring tween. The fall house has a grandaunt/uncle who takes care of a pair of children because their parents couldn't but still visit a lot. The winter house has an old couple who love the winter time. They celebrate Christmas but always support people who celebrate other holidays or just don't do holidays (like get gifts/cards that fit for what the person celebrates) and they retired very recently.

Creative! I'll get creative right now: I like to think that all these townhouses are owned by one big family. So the spring house is owned by an aunt and uncle and their young tweenage daughter. The mom is a gardener and florist by trade, the father is a painter by trade with a lot of crafty hobbies. (Making blankets and scarves for everyone in the family. Yes, he made them all matching sweaters with their names on the front!) He and the daughter like to do crafts and paint together, and the daughter loves reading. The summer house has two aunts, and three kids. The eldest daughter (20's), their son (just turned 20), and their older teenage daughter. One mom is a professional chef, the other's a fisherwoman. The older teenage daughter is big into photography and activism. The son might be staying over for the weekend, or maybe for the summer, as he finishes his big novel debut. His old room got turned into the guest room. Their eldest daughter is still figuring out what she wants to do with her life, but she loves bird watching and helping her mom in the kitchen. The wives are also scout leaders because of the scout board in the office, they always bring the best snacks to the meetings. They probably have a scout mom rival, not because she's lesbophobic, but because she swears she can make better lemon bars then Susan! The fall house is owned by an newly single father, who co-parents with his ex-girlfriend. His kid is around 10, and loves putting together little robot models and mini figures. The kid found his parents old engagement photo and put it up on the wall in the attic But because this kid is 10, he didn't do a good job and it fell and shattered slightly. He keeps hanging it back up. His older father is a scientist, who wants to be an astronaut, and he also is a musician. (I also like to imagine his ex is a musician in the band they have together and their breakup songs are top tier! Even if they broke up amicably and they're kinda putting on a little show for the audience.) They all have movie nights once a month and play ping pong together for some family bonding. The exes have some competitive darts games once their son goes to bed, where they can have some deep conversations. The winter house is owned by their grandmother (so she has an eldest son, a middle daughter, and a younger son.) Their grandfather made all the stained glass windows in the house, per the grandmother's request. The grandmother has the attic set up for all her grandchildren, even though they literally have bedrooms right next door. She used to drive school busses and sell Mary Kay products for a living. She does keep the house freezing, cause it helps her bones. She does love skiing, even if all her adult children fuss over her newly replaced hip. She has a little crate with a rope tied around it so she can step up and down into the giant pickup truck her lovely husband left her, and bring it with her wherever she may go. Her husband was a woodworker and mechanic, and she learned a thing or two in their fifty plus years of marriage, so she knows what she's doing. She carves little trinkets and tchotchkes for everyone for the holidays, and always makes a little carved wooden duck for her late husband, her nickname for him: ducky.

Super cute build! It was very fun to watch you CREATE these homes and I agree that they all feel very unique 😁 I enjoy the longer form content bc I did my ironing while watching the video (although I also enjoy your shorter videos too!) 💜 I think my favourite unit to live in would be the spring one because of all the plants & pastels! 🌸 In terms of odd rooms: my stepdad and his partner had a music room with a piano, guitars, a violin, bongos, and other instruments (before she passed away) 🎹 Also the two recliners very much reminds me of both sets of my grandparents 🥰 Future video ideas: -Townhouses for different life stages in the Sims based on different design/architecture styles e.g. elders - 1920s/30s, adults - midcentury, young adults 80s/90s, teens 2010s/20s -A tiny home built on a pond/lake (since in the UK we get a lot of rain in the springtime) -A midcentury home for a sim who loves space (think space race vibes) -A botanical garden (park) with greenhouses, a gift shop, and different areas for plants from different regions, to go where the park is currently in Tomarang -A limited pack tropical themed build using just Jungle Adventure, Island Living, and For Rent
