If anything it will probably decrease power slightly

@@motomc6962 not on a turbocharged engine. Its a little bit more, but with a remap you can definitly get more out. On Naturally aspirated engines you get better throttle response, and of course on both a nice sound

Is the engine naturally aspirated? Or does it already come with a turbo .. basically my first car is a 6j and im looking for an induction lit , but have no turbo lol , but i want it to sound good .. any suggestions?

It's got a turbo, a pod filter would make it a little louder but not by much. Best thing would be an exhaust upgrade

If its a 16v put a cone filter and it will sound much better than a turbo just hearing the engine scream

Too bad those type of air filters are illegal in Portugal, sounds a bit better. There is an OEM hood sound dampener, in case anyone wants, the reference is 6F0863831A.

Hi Splodgemotors and ty for your videos ! My question is a bit different.. Do you have a small vent sound when you push the throtle pedal ? My issue (and idk if it is an issue or standard) is that whenever i push the throtle (and reaches the turbo activation) i do have a sensation that my ventilation goes higher and whenever i stop, it stops right away. Sounds like a scratch/hole somewhere near turbo that causes this but i dont know where.. :( I also have the same ibiza but not Fr and 1.0 tsi (engine looks the same from your video) Thank you !

@@SplodgeMotors It's like that my AC is running by itself whenever I press the throttle and over 1500rpms. And the more I push the more the AC goes higher (but it is definitely not the AC) The sound comes from the windshield (but it is not the wind itself)
