I have the same car, same engine, dsg gearbox with sport mode, belive me...the 1.4 tsi is 100% capable of that. That's not fake, not downhill, its all about the 184 lbft.

My grandads fr 1.8 tsi has a dsg7 dq200 gearbox and it is fantastic the seat dealer said the auto gearbox accelerates just as fast as the manual

Actually dsg switches gears faster than most drivers do on manual

its probably because of heat production that they dont let it reach further for longer periods of time since its just a single turbo with a medium spool instead of the old 160-190bhp compressor/large turbo combination

il ne passe la 6eme qu'a la fin , mais le 1.4 turbo manque de couple à plus de 200kmh pour pousser le dernier rapport a fond

As far as I can say.... Seat is giving more horse power over other concern VW cars for the same/ identical/ engines used @ Skoda, VW, Audi... Easily you can check - enable / disable clima & you will see - you`ll get same performance no matter if clima control is on or off. This is why i like Seat for may last 2 cars. BTW- Why the hell is Audi still using TFSI etc name, if the whole engine is just turbo TSI ?

@@sakal88 Hello, I am from Mexico, we measure the fuel consumption in Km per liter, in other countries it is measure in a different way, either miles per galon or lts per 100 km. I have a Seat Leon FR 1.4 TSI, on city it gives me around 10-11 km per liter, on highway at cruising speed of 110-120 kph the consumption is around 18 km per liter, and finally om speeds of 140 kph the consumption is around 11-13 km per liter.

Sorry, but this is not fake at all. I just bought this car, 2 weeks ago, and I am simply amazed by this little engine. Reliable? I dont know how reliable is this engine; we'll see. All I know is that at a speed of 180 Km/h, 6th gear (manual), has only 4000 rpm. 140 Km/h, 6th gear 3000 rpm, which is incredible low for such a little engine. Anyway, this video is not fake. Acceleration is "insane" comparing to this engine's size.

SRXTS got this car for a half a year with same engine. 1.4 140ps nevanda white. Average consumption for 15k km is about 5.8 liters. Amazing! Enjoy your Seat!

this thing has the same awesome low-down-torque characteristics as the 1.8 tfsi. very impressive, i have to drive one. from this video it seems even better driveable then the 2.0 tdi O.o try accelerating that from 60kmh in 6th gear. not a pleasure.
