Does anyone else feel like season 2 was better than season 3 the stakes just felt alot higher and the final battle in season 2 was just so much better in my opinion

The stakes were pretty intense when tanjiro was debating if he should save the people or save her sister

I think people sleep on what happened b/c a lot of the tension wasn't action based. Mu should have died, if not for a smith giving him air, but people act like he easily killed his upper moon. UM got cocky b/c he had already beaten him once. But the kill looked easy so people forget what happened a few episodes ago. Another Pillar was on the verge of death, but that fight was mostly off screen so no one worried about it; it wasn't until Tanjoro finally killed his UM that she was saved. It was just as tense full, but not as action packed. There was a lot at stake; especially when Nezuko was giving herself to fate to save the smiths. But not every season can be best, season 2 definitely felt like the better season. But it's a story, not a competition.

The stakes and fights and everything were honestly much higher and better in S3. It just doesn't feel that way because the anime adaptation did a poor job conveying it. It's clear in the manga though

That's because they got strong in season 3 so the stakes lowered, and even then they were still high.
