What will they do, if they run out of CO2 on a call?

That truck is probably $700,000 - $1 million dollars. Then, it will sit inside the firehouse for the next 10 years, not doing much. They'll have to maintain it with a couple hundred thousand more. It might see action 3 or 4 times in its life. Then they'll dismantle it and sell it at auction for $50,000 - $60,000. The next specialized truck will be $2 - $3 million. There's your tax dollars.

​@@SeattleResponsesyeah only for PR reasons. How many of those calls was it ACTUALLY needed? Fire depts spend millions of dollars on all manner of fancy apparatus that seldom get used in real-world applications. Meanwhile your local EMS department is probably running a dozen calls a shift on trucks with 150,000 miles on the clock...

@@kingarthur5110 So you're complaining because Fire Departments have apparatus they seldom use? What would you say when there's a LIFE THREATENING situation that requires that apparatus? Public Services aren't meant to generate revenue, they are designed to be ready when the service is needed. Something that may be used 4-5 times throughout its life (which never happens) probably makes all the difference on that Emergency scene.
