*** UPDATE: On the second visit to the Seattle Christmas Market, I discovered my favorite dish! The Tornado Potato Poutine really knocked our socks off, specifically the crispy skewered cheese that comes with it. Highly recommend! 😍 For dessert, try the macaron ice cream sandwich at the Macadon stall. We tried the Brown Sugar Boba flavor and were delighted the pearls were chewy despite being cold! As for me, I can't wait to make more time to paint, snuggle with books, and hang out with family & friends❄☃💙 ► VIDEO DESCRIPTION: Been missing the Christmas Markets of Europe, so we were excited to hear about Seattle’s First Annual Christmas Market! The food and drinks, stall designs, and decor really gave off European Christmas Market vibes. Turns out the same company hosts the Vancouver Christmas Market. Mommy Oh and I also had a blast riding the merry-go-round and letting our inner children run wild haha. They had a pretty wide selection of vendors (many local businesses as well). The main difference though is admission. Christmas Markets we visited in Europe were free admission. The Seattle Christmas Market does charge admission. On the bright side, it is cheaper and faster for us locals to drive to this market than to fly to Europe. Overall I think they did a good job setting up the festivities, especially since it’s their first year in Seattle. Looking forward to see how they evolve the market in years to come!
