I grew up watching Dallas. The defining difference between all of their Super Bowl teams and all of the others is consistency game after game. Nobody had to worry about which team would show up from one week to another. During the Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin era the opposing team knew what Dallas was going to do. Dallas didn't try to hide it in fancy formations. They just lined up and executed. This team, on paper, has had the personnel to make deep playoff runs but has never been consistent. You never know which team is showing up. They can have first and goal from the 3 and end up kicking after never running the ball. Until they fix the inconsistencies and make the other team stop them even when it's obvious what they are going to do they will never match their paper potential.

Any real dallas fan should be seriously worried for this team. Worried about kicking and our offensive line. If we don't get help on that line Prescott has a high chance of getting seriously injured. And we all know how Maher kicks idk why we still have him on the roster.

What’s really important to see who played well and can back up or possibly start and who’s getting cut. The win lose record means nothing. It’s fun to see your team win, but 4-0 in pre season doesn’t mean the division is a wrap or there’s a deep run in the playoffs ahead just like 0-4 doesn’t mean it’s a 4-13 season.

Seattle definitely had their chances to win this game but give Cowboys a lot of earned credit. The defense of Dallas picked off Drew Lock 3 times, got into end zone as game continued, and really made a key effort to making things hard. Seattle Seahawks to me are still a good defense and truthfully that's what will carry them through. Quandre Diggs Jamal Adams are two of nfl's finest cornerbacks and safeties this league has. Stefan's brother Trayvon for Cowboys also a big part of those defensive takeaways from last year. Terrific performance by QB Will Grier. Going to be cool to notice who will be Dallas's number 2. Cooper Rush can definitely start on some current NFL teams. I think he and Muellens are my favorite back ups. I do believe Tyler Lockett ⭐🍿and Dk 📸 will have great regular seasons if healthy. The Seahawks have enough good talent around them to do okay in their own division. Far as entertainment goes both Houston Texans and Seahawks will show flashes of how good they can play. Not saying they are making playoffs. But good preseason win Cowboys. Go Dallas go👏🎉👍

My way too early grades on our team: Defense will lead the way with an A grade Micah and pass rushers will dominate again, that paired with some much needed help in our secondary it’s safe to say this unit will carry the load for playoff aspirations and beyond. Offense comes with a low grade of C- I hope to be proven wrong but I just have to base it off what I’ve seen. And a makeshift O-line for Dak worries the hell out of me. He’s a great QB but he’s not Joe borrow. Good to great pass protection is a must for good QB play. That paired with new targets for Dak that may or may not pan out makes for some grim expectations in the passing game. A great hope is CD, Dak, and Zeke carry this unit into being middle of the pack. Special Teams with a balanced grade of B+ This was tough I really wanted to grade it an A but Maher and his inconsistency as a kicker kept me from doing so. Without Turpin however this grade is much lower! His upside looks like something special putting all grading aside. Anger is a pro bowl punter so can’t complain there, he’ll most likely continue his terror as a feared weapon in the battle for field position. In all the team as a whole gets a B, I predict we still win anywhere from 9-11 games and remain NFC Championships with an early playoff exit.

I feel the secondary will make a big jump with a lot of the new corners having more experience under their belts, LBs improved with the addition of Anthony Barr. Micah will continue to terrorize o lines and QB, I think at a higher snap count at pass rush not LB. Of course this is all opinion and I can only go off of facts/stats. You very well may be right the defense does worse but I just don’t see any evidence at the moment that supports that.

My 3 main takeaways from the game: 1)Still horrendous penalties at the worst time (defense penalties on 3rd down/offense penalties nullify a big gain putting them behind the chains); 2)Overall effort/execution was high, Noone taking plays off or giving less than 100 percent; 3)No telling injuries occurred. Bonus observation: Maher may have found consistency from short to mid-range, which the lack thereof was his (and the team's) downfall his 1st stint in Dallas. Injuries aside, I'm optimistic about this Dallas team's chance to have a successful season.

This defense this game had mostly 2nd and 3rd stringers and they played lights out for being non starters. I like our defense Top 10 to start the season and Top 5. When we got DQ I considered him our biggest FA. Now I think our biggest FA could be Whitworth or Wynn from the Patriots or maybe Eric Fisher (Achilles injury tho).

Ok this game was won by Defense, and from this I take 2 obvious things Cowboys NEED a good kicker once and for all, they keep bargaining with the kicker situation and just like that they are hanging at the edge of defeat many times. And second, none of the backup QBs can handle the job if Dak goes down again.

Some people need to realize little to none of the starters play... preseason is to see if your backups and rookies that you sign are going to step up. If they step up ofc they won't start but that when you start to develop that player to be even better and then come maybe this season or even next preseason ypu give them more opportunity and then they have a chance to become a starter. So I mean I'm not worried for my team it just means we will have some decent back ups for our starters thatcan hold their own. Our O-line will be fine if some of the rookies that are starting are hungry enough they will eat and eat and become a solid player.
