I grew up in South King County in the suburbs. Me and my stepbrother would take a Metro bus downtown and go run around Pike Place and along the waterfront all the time when we were younger…we always had a blast. Now, as an adult I would never let kids my age and my brother’s age to take off and go down there by themselves…but I guess that was a different time… Lol.

Yeah, times changed for sure! Seattle seems to be cleaning things up a bit...maybe on the down low. I didn't seem too many homeless camps this time, even when I was down by the train station. Seattle is trying pretty hard to fix up the waterfront and bring in the tourists. ....I still wouldn't my kids walk around on their own though either. :)

We lived in a suburb of Seattle for 32 years. Unfortunately Seattle has been overtaken by homeless people. A third of Seattle police have quit and 150 businesses have left downtown. It has become the lawless wild west.

Yeah, I live south of Seattle but my dad grew up in Ballard so we went up to Seattle just about every weekend to see my grandparents. A lot has changed. ....especially Ballard.

You know, I've seen it worse. The homeless were not as bad as a couple years ago. Seattle is trying to clean up the downtown. I think they are actually just shipping their homeless to the small rural towns. We are getting overrun with homeless and none of them are from here.
