It wasn't until the passage of the 1965 Voting Rights Act that all African Americans were granted the full right to vote, but the fight began in the 1800s alongside the women's suffrage movement. KD Hall presents a documentary that delves into the lives of the women who were leaders in the fight for equal rights for African Americans, especially women. Ida B. Wells was an African American investigative journalist, educator, and early leader in the civil rights movement. The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. was started by 22 college women in 1913 who marched with suffragettes and took a stand on social justice. Born into slavery in 1858, Anna Julia Cooper triumphed against the odds to receive a world-class education eventually receiving a PhD at the age of 67. Explore the untold stories of black women in the women's suffrage movement.

Appreciate this content because far too often I see women's history month not incorporate black women's contributions and the lack of highlighting it points to a problem with traditional US feminism and who it centers.

Not true. its because blk women or men had no place or right to challenge the white man in his society. The white woman was not gonna have blk women as equal, thats why they are at the back of the line. But they still marched as long as can have more rights and power than the blk man. They will submit at the back of the line and leave the black family. know your history. White women used black women to get what they wanted.

Again looking at boys as criminals just tells us about your definition of equality. What about those women who falsely accuse or take unjust advantage of the law for their own benefits? A lot of young boys are also sexually assaulted by women. Let's keep it fair and equal 😁.

As a full grown ass businessman I don't understand what is so intimidating about someone that is not as capable as you I mean for one that is capable he would more than welcome to competition even help the competition out because he knows there will never be as it is he back in school when a person thought they were going to lose they would cheat if they really thought they didn't have a chance at all they would cheat in every way humanly possible

What white men did to their white women? Had nothing to do with blk women or blk families. blk families was oppressed male and female. Why would blk women join the white women movement when in reality, white women was jealous of them from the history of white men sleeping with their slaves. Lets be real. And when white women would sleep with a slave, she would blame it on him and would get mutilated and burned.
