Furikake Chex Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Chex Mix
3 cups Corn Chex amzn.to/3isa58V
3 cups Rice Chex amzn.to/3iIZwhZ
3 cups Wheat Chex amzn.to/3pEfGdD
2 cups Bugles amzn.to/3pHCF7U
2 cups pretzels amzn.to/3gsUfs5
1 cup honey roasted peanuts amzn.to/2RDIx5i
For the glaze
½ cup unsalted butter
⅓ cup granulated sugar amzn.to/3wbVHFV
⅓ cup light corn syrup amzn.to/2TYypF9
¼ cup vegetable oil amzn.to/3pGS3RZ
2 tablespoon shoyu amzn.to/3ggiVFn
½ cup furikake amzn.to/3pEJyqp
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 250F.
2. For the Chex Mix: Spread corn Chex, rice Chex, wheat Chex, Bugles, pretzels, and peanuts evenly between two large pans and set aside.
3. For the glaze: To a small pot over medium high heat add butter. Continue stirring until melted, being careful not to burn the butter.
4. Then add sugar and stir until dissolved.
5. Next add corn syrup, vegetable oil, and shoyu. Mix until well combined.
6. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the Chex mix and stir until evenly coated.
7. Sprinkle the furikake over the Chex mix and stir until evenly coated.
8. Place in the oven and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
9. Once done baking, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. ENJOY!
